We have an ethos to be a front runner by undertaking new initiatives which will improve the lives of our residents. This is demonstrated by us piloting & having strong associations with new national and local projects over the years, such as:
- “Prosper” a Health lead national project aimed at improving well being (2014)
- FaNs, Friends & Neighbours, community based initiative which recognises our residents as important people in our society (2014)
- “My Home Life” ethos, a nationally recognised movement which is a leader in improving the lives of residents in Care Homes (since 2005)
Other such pilots leading to improvements include: Drs in a car, District Nurses Crisis Response, Palliative Care in Homes & Emergency Admission pilot. The team participate in strategy groups: Better Hospital Transfer Network and developing the Essex CC quality improvement framework.
